I can see. Sorta.
From my new hand-dandy card (image soon maybe) I got on my next day follow-up, I no longer require corrective lenses when I drive. Yet, I cannot read the road signs. Evidently, the government thinks this is acceptable for a vision requirement. Go figure.
My vision comes and goes depending on the relative fluid level of my tears. I have a lot of dry eye problems currently and when I take my drops, I can see great for about 20 seconds and then it gets blurry again once I blink. The doctor said 2-3 weeks for the full effect but all along they told me I might need a second procedure due to my horrific vision.
So the score is I went from 20/they-don't-make-a-calculator-that-computes-that-high (or 20/20,000 as their best guess) to 20/40. He said he thinks I'll eventually get to a 20/15 (where I was with glasses).
The day after felt like I had a combination of sand and vaseline in my eye, now it's just goopy stuff from all the drops.
Finally, would I do it again? At this point yes.
